Finding Foursquare single casks at this price has become nearly impossible. All the more impressive then that this was aged 8 of its 9yrs at the distillery on Barbados in its own unique tropical microclimate. The remaining year was spent finishing in a Port Cask in New York prior to bottling at a high proof of 110. The flavors here are everything you'd want and expect in a rum from this distillery, focused, concentrated, unadulterated and dry with notes of warming baking spices, blackberry pie, sarsaparilla & nougat. Distilled 2012, bottled 2023 - available in very limited quantities.
