Staff Pick Notes

I'm stoked to be carrying wines from Wild Arc, who have been producing thoughtful and delicious libations at their Catskills farm and cellar for nearly a decade. This cider is an absolute stunner, made from apples and quince grown by their collaborators across the Hudson River, Rose Hill Farm in Red Hook. Right out the gate your nose is seduced with aromas of sweet, pithy citrus. Combine that with pleasing astringency and light effervescence (which comes from re-fermentation in bottle with local wildflower honey), and you've got a delicious bone-dry cider that's reminiscent of some of the best Basque ciders. Bottled unfiltered and named after Eris, the Goddess of Discord who threw a golden apple into a wedding, inciting the Trojan War. Throw this bottle in your picnic basket and incite good times.
