Staff Pick Notes

Centum Herbus is Latin for ‘one hundred herbs’. This is recipe has been in the Bordiga repertoire for at least a century. The Bordiga distillery was founded in 1888 by Pietro Bordiga, a passionate bartender and herbalist, who was living in the northern Italian city of Torino. Using his knowledge of local botanicals & extracted oils, Pietro created a vermouth that is still produced today. This wonderful item is a traditional Alpine herbal liqueur featuring eucalyptus, wild thyme, juniper, quassia bark, and linden leaves, just to name a few. All infusions are done separately and then rested in glass or stainless steel for 60 days before blending. Bright and fresh with notes of mint, thyme and lemon grass. A vibrant Chartreuse green in the glass, this is a liqueur that truly and rightfully hold it's place along side the famed monks recipe.
