Hitorimusume Saké, Junmai Nigori

720 mL
Item # 50266

This nigori (lightly filtered) saké has aromas of fresh chestnuts and almonds. Soft and smooth, it boasts lovely hints of yellow apples and freshly baked bread. This is an excellent choice with crab dishes.

Staff Pick Notes

Whether you're curious about sake, or an intense, beautiful sake nerd, here's why you should try this bottle: This is a very dry, food-friendly bottle of nigori: sake made in a textured, cloudy, unfiltered style. It's probably one of the driest nigori we have in the store (+10 SMV), especially considering the style trends towards rich and sweet. It has a pleasant and distinct nuttiness that will go with everything from mushrooms and sausages to lobster ravioli. Overall, the flavors express the savory side of sake's potential profile, balanced though by delicate, clean orchard fruit. I recommend you drink it chilled.
