Staff Pick Notes

Such Great Heitz! This is a stellar 2012 Napa Cab with layers and layers of beauty showing right now. It is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and sees 3 years of oak aging, truly showcasing the varietal as well as classic Napa style. On the nose: cassis, black cherries, vanilla, sautéed mushrooms, fresh turned earth, vibrant cedar wood, cinnamon, balsamic, black pepper, orange peel, and dark chocolate-covered violets. On the palate, it has great acidity and robust but refined tannins, ending with an exquisitely long finish. If you love Napa Cab, Heitz will delight your heart and soul. Drink tonight with a rib eye steak or cellar for years to come!
