Being a true farm to glass distiller is no easy feat at all. If it were then everybody would be doing it. The reality is it takes a small independant producer that is obsessively focused on quality and transparency to make it happen. What you get is a whisky of distinction that can only get better. This flagship bottling is made exclusively from barley homegrown on the distiller's own farm, milled mashed and fermented with natural chalk filtered water deep in the Yorkshire wolds and distilled by hand on their custom stills. The aging is conducted in a variety of premium oak casks from around the world and each batch is still bottled by hand. No color added. No chill filtering. Light, fruity, herbal with a big round texture that burst with flavor on the mid palate. The whisky is alive and vibrant. A perfect aperitif or easy drinking style with a wide appeal.
