Chateau de Laubade 21yr Bas-Armagnac

Chateau de Laubade 21yr Bas-Armagnac

Item # 49683 750 mL

Laubade is one of the most well known estates in all of Armagnac and for decades the Lesgourgues family have been tireless evangelists for what is by many measures, the oldest spirit in all of Europe. Created from the family's own single vineyard located just behind their historic Chateau, this coplanted site was used to create this blend of Colombard, Baco and Folle Blanche grapes that were single distilled with precision and aged for a minimum of 21yrs in local black Gascon Oak as tradition disctates. Structured, dry with serious depth from the oak on the palate, the spirit remains effusive with a bounty of ripe spring fruits, fresh pastry notes, ginger and amber honey.
