Suntory Yamazaki Owner's Cask 18yr Japanese Single Malt Whisky - 1994

Regular releases of old Yamazaki are currently some of the most after collectible spirits in the world and single barrel versions of these releases are virtually non-existent. So to be able to offer this extraordinary release, from arguably the greatest era of this series, is a very special opportunity. From spirit distilled in 1994 and aged in a single Sherry Butt at the Ohmi aging cellar for 18yrs prior to bottling in 2006, this cask was personally selected by the owner of Suntory with a total yield of 452 bottles. This is bottle #133 and is presented here in excellent condition along with the original box and certificate of authenticy. The whisky itself is made even more desirable but the quality of the extremely reactive cask it was in which has created a true, 'Pure Black Malt.'
