This outstanding ethos also shows up in the bottle. This beautiful red made from 100% hand-harvested Kotsifali, aged in a combination of 225 liter barrels and stainless steel. The wine is bright and pure fruited. Close to Pinot Noir in profile, the wine shows bright red fruit, cherries, raspberries and red plums. Floral notes and dried herbs give the Zelos a savory edge. Refined, but present tannins give the wine a sublime texture while the crisp acidity makes this wine the perfect candidate for a light chill.
