This dry red is made entirely from Pignolo with an average of at least 25 years of age. The wine spends one month on the skins, 5 years in used barrel, and then a minimum of 6 years aging in bottle. Medium-bodied, with a freshness despite its age, the herbaceous and savory aromas are gorgeous. Pair with bread gnocchi and speck.
