Elements of Islay Sherry Cask Islay Blended Malt Scotch Whisky

Item # 49153 700 mL

Islay may be its official name, but Whisky Island would be a more accurate moniker. The history of whisky making on this tiny plot of land and the current collection of icons and icons in the making is unrivaled as is the peaty terroir driven style of whisky that proliferates. This series from acclaimed blender Oliver Chilton digs deep to push what seem to be unfathomable depths of flavor. This release comes from single malts aged entirely in sherry casks. Notes include smoked black tea, Autumn fruit and Winter spices. Bottled at natural cask strength.
