Catskill Provisions Pollinator Gin

Item # 48851 750 mL

Every step of creating this gin has been thoroughly considered and no corners have been cut. Made with a base spirit of non-gmo NY State corn and Catskill Provisions' own wildflower honey that is then infused with juniper berries and pollinator friendly botanicals such as verbena, chamomile and angelica. The final spirit is proofed down with local mineral rich mountain spring water. This is seriously delicious gin on a mission!

Staff Pick Notes

Whether it’s food, wine or spirits I try to support local businesses, especially when they represent a real sense of place. I recently had the pleasure of chatting with CEO & founder Claire Marin about her production ethos for this distillery. The short version is that she began apiculture as a hobby after moving to the Catskills, and ended up opening a distillery. She's not trying to reinvent the gin category as much as she wants to put products in the market that support local agriculture, thereby putting money into the hands of farmers in the surrounding area. Non-GMO corn grown by NY farmers, locally sourced pollinator friendly botanicals and Claire's honey comprise the ingredients. The gin is also lovely! Mildly floral & refreshing with balanced juniper, this will feature prominently in my gin cocktails for the foreseeable future.
