Mezcalosfera Espadin con Mango y Chile Habanero Mezcal

"Los mezcales del pasado y el futuro" ("The mezcals of the past and the future") Mezcalosfera serves as the export offerings chosen by the family behind La Mezcaloteca, the widely renowned mezcal watering hole in the heart of Oaxaca City. Their labels are a significant part to their story, putting the mezcaleros first and letting their spirits speak for themselves, a testament to terroir. This specific bottling is a special batch of "pechuga", though typically made using the addition of some form of protein, featuring mango & habanero chiles that are within the boiling chamber while a finished batch of Espadin is redistilled with it. Job Cortes uses the Espadin as a perfect foundation to capture the sweetness of mango, peach rings, and watermelon soda with the spice of the habanero chiles & seasoning salt, a zesty pour of maguey.
