Now in its third generation of leadership, the Inama family has been producing wine since the 1950s, when Giuseppe Inama began purchasing small plots of vineyards in the Colli Berici. Bradisismo combines Cabernet Sauvignon with Bordeaux varietals Carmenere and Cabernet Franc, that have been grown in the Colli Berici area for around 150 years. The wine's name is Italian for bradyseism, a geological term for uplifting of the Earth's crust by deep lakes of magma, a process that formed the Colli Berici. Bradisismo expresses a synthesis between the intense aromas and concentrated cherry fruit of the Cabernet Sauvignon, together with the vividness of the Carmenere, and the pepper, cocoa and wild wild berries of Cabernet Franc. For Cabernet Sauvignon lovers, this wine is a perfect alternative to a Super Tuscan or a top Bordeaux wine.
