Tempus Fugit Spirits, Crème de Noyaux

Sometimes love is easy. The charms are readily apparent, the enchantment immediate. Tempus Fugit has earned a reputation for making superb historical liqueurs in the most natural way. Their latest addition to our shelf is this stunning Crème de Noyaux, based on a 19th century French recipe. Made with apricot and cherry pit kernels, combined with bitter almonds and other botanicals this is out and out pure pleasure, a delight in every sense. Taking in the aromas of this alone will weaken your knees, let alone your first sip. It's soft and sweet with cherry and marzipan notes and a slight hint of herbal bitterness on the finish. It's so delicious you may be tempted to sip outright, but it would absolutely shine in cocktails (check out the back label for the Pink Squirrel). Let go, surrender and indulge. Resistance is futile.
