High Wire Astor Jimmy Red Single Barrel Bourbon Whiskey

For those that have been following along with us we know at this point that this is one of the most important and exciting new distillers in America. And we have been tracking their progress with regular annual visits accompanied by our own single cask selections. This current release shows perfectly that Jimmy Red is at once a Bourbon but also clearly a hyper distinctive whiskey that speaks to its origins and artisanal production methods - translation - it is unique and delicious. Aged in a Char #3 cask made from naturally air dried staves for 3.5yrs in the intense uncontrolled natural enviornment at the distillery in Charleston, South Carolina and bottled at cask strength.
