Staff Pick Notes

Don’t think of this bottle as just your run-of-the-mill Nebbiolo. It is far, far more. Hailing from the prized Bricco di Neive Cru in Barbaresco, this is world class Nebbiolo that creates some of the longest lived Barbaresco on the market. However, this bottling showcases a more elegant and easier drinking example of Paitin’s fruit. Paitin is legendary, with the Pasquero-Elia family having worked these lands since 1796, and now practicing both organic and Biodynamic viticulture. The results speak for themselves, creating an unbeatable value within the Piedmont. The cherries are ripe and fresh, there is a hint of citrus akin to blood orange, while the Slavonian oak adds a touch of spice and a delicate roundness. If you are a fan of Barolo or Barbaresco, this bottle is a must try!
