Staff Pick Notes

The packaging on the makes you think it's more of a peat monster than it actually is. Perfect for any cocktail that asks for a peated Scotch and with nuance enough for serious sipping. Among the single malts used here is what I can only guess is a very small amount of the famous shuttered distillery Port Ellen. The younger malts that are part of this blend have a straw-and-hay grassy quality that reminds me of mezcal, with a nice savory smokiness creeping in at the finish.

History:Distillation was brought to Scotland from Ireland by missionary monks in the 6th century.
