Staff Pick Notes

The Delouvin Nowack brand was created by the parents of the current owners but the Delouvin family has been around as vine growers and wine makers since the 17th century. In the Vallee de La Marne, where the soil is mainly made of clay and limestone, producers focus mainly on planting Pinot Meunier. The producer, Bertrand is now practicing organic agricolture without the use of pesticides. It's a delicious medium body sparkling rose with floral notes on the nose and red berry and spice on the palate. Malolactic fermentation is practiced in the wine house to create a rounder flavor. All of it supported by smooth bubbles. It can be drunk by itself or paired with smoked fish!
