Made from late harvest local burgundian sloe berries that are picked at peak concentration and freshness after the first frost of the season. The stones of the fruit and broken down and added into spirit to macerate with a touch of sugar. The effect adds incredible and unexpected dimension to the final spirit with notes that show almond brittle, chamomile tea, ginger snaps and mulled cider amongst others. Excellent as a traditional digestif, it equally works well as a light spritzy aperitif and work wonders as a secret ingredient in many cocktails. * Please note the bottle wax may be different than the one pictured.
