Samuel Gelston's Old Irish Whiskey12yr Single Malt Irish Whiskey

Created in the first half of the 19th Century, more than five generations on and under it's current revival, this brand is still in the same family hands, bottling whiskies that would no doubt make their ancestor's proud and thirsty. Made from a base of single malt stocks that were each fully matured in a mix of Bourbon, Sherry, Rum and Port Casks, the batch was then finished for an additional two years in ex-Oloroso Sherry casks. As you'd expect, this is a full flavored whiskey that manages to not be overdone, instead only more and more compelling with each sip. Well done.
