The crown jewel in this distillers range of current releases contains rums blended from casks aged a minimum of 8yrs, entirely on the island. The equivalent in a less tropical area would take more than twice as long to reach the same level of maturity. Marie Galante is famed for having what are said to be the best terroirs on the planet for growing sugar cane, making this agricole style rum made from the fresh pressed juice of native varieties even more special.
