Saint Benevolence 5yr Caribbean Rum

After developing his beautiful Clairin at his own distillery in St Michel, Haiti, Gueillant Dorcinvil shows his blending skills with his 5 year, American Oak aged rum. He sources 5 yr Dominican Agricole and 5 yr Barbados molasses runs, and brings them together to blend in Florida. It’s a beautifully balanced spirit that is a touch sweet and rich in texture. The edges are nice and round and soft. Plenty of vanilla, very ripe plantains, rock candy show up on the nose and palate. This makes a perfect addition to your daiquiris and mai tais. I tried it in a Negroni last night, and I may never make it with gin again.
