I've walked passed this bottle a million times, and always told myself that sometime next week I'll bring it home with me. Well, after about a year I finally took this bottle home, and boy was I surprised. Light-bodied and fruit-forward, this Carignan/Merlot blend is what I want at the table. With wonderfully balanced notes of cranberry and baking spice, this will pair well with a plethora of dishes. In Autumn, I'm pairing this with a roasted butternut squash and a pork loin. My mouth is already watering. At this price point, I'm happy to fill my cellar with.
