A former mechanic turned vigneron in Saint-Péray which is just outside of the northern Rhône winegrowing regions. This luscious white wine is made from the Marsanne grape and is aged in barrique. A full-bodied exotic white wine, aromatic and refined with excellent acidity and minerals.

Rich, round and Rubenesque, this Marsanne from the northern Rhone delivers all you could want if you are a fan of full white wines. Each sip is a burst of bold flavors and aromas. Roasted nectarine, peach, and kumquat followed by honey and spice and a toasted hazelnut finish. Although low in acidity, there is just enough to (barely) tame the beast. Not sweet by any means, but if you are looking for a lean, dry white, this isn't it. The vintage is 2016, but this drinks with the lush complexity of a wine with age. Fans of Rhone Viognier and Hungarian Furmint will find a new friend here. Pair with succulent shellfish dishes like butter poached lobster, crab au gratin, or mussels in cream sauce.
