The most dignified and powerful of all the sites in Castiglione Falletto yields Barolos that marvel consistently with its grace after ageing. This is still brooding and dark, but is a fine example of the vintage, in which the grapes had a long, sunny summer to ripen and now demonstrate velvetly tannins. This wine's breathtaking acidity combined with its wound-up tannins make it the most classic of Brovia's range.
