Ron del Barrilito 2 Star Premium Rum

Officially founded in 1880, Ron del Barrilito is the oldest active rum producer on the island of Puerto Rico. For over 100 years the Fernandez family has made the rums in the same method with great attention to detail and quality. This two star expression is available for the first time ever in the US. Aged for a minimum of three years in charred oak barrels, the spirit shows lots of coconut, dried grass, canvas, dried citrus peel, and sweet tea on the nose. The palate is focused on buttered nuts, toffee, and baking spices with a bittersweet mid-palate and a spicy finish. Top rate as always, rums from this producer never disappoint.
