Take a ride on the wild side with this heavily bitter leaning amaro. If you are like me and enjoy straying into the more herbacious and piney side of amari, this is the choice for you! Utilizing a 6 month maceration with a dry marsala base, tree sap from Sicily is used to bolster the sweetness a touch, while also imparting even more impressive alpine character to this already bracing digestivo. The Cappelletti family have been producing exquisite amari for 4 generations now and while many producers have transitioned to the spirit based amari, they have stuck true to the age old "vino amaro" style and their balance and understanding of the style showcase in every item they oversee.
