A food friendly box of red wine equal to 4 bottles so this is really a great deal and its organic as well. For me, I was getting some gamey almost bloody notes on the nose which I was not expecting from a box wine. None of that on the palate. Just ripe fruit and some silky tannins. This wine has some acidity which makes it great for hearty winter feasts and grilling at a summer BBQ.
