Staff Pick Notes

If this wine was a person, it would be that image you have in your head of a good ol' beachy Californian. They are bright, easygoing, and refreshing to be around. They exude that California sunshine even when indoors, and they don't need excessive frills to make them beautiful and expressive. The Brea Chard is all of those things and more. The winemakers are producing site specific, terroir driven, and sustainably farmed wines, grown biodynamically with minimal intervention. The wine is bright and crisp and isn't smothered with oak, allowing the California sunshine to come out in ripe yellow apple, fresh meyer lemon, and touch of apricot. Give California Chardonnay another chance and hang ten with this Cali Chard.
