Bourgogne Rouge "Cuvée l'Oncle Paul," Moissenet-Bonnard

Bourgogne Rouge "Cuvée l'Oncle Paul," Moissenet-Bonnard - 2022

750 mL
Item # 29178

The Pinot Noir of Moissenet Bornard does not yield its charms easily. The palate rolls with rustic pink peppercorn and early-season cherries, but still gives a sense of power. There is quite a bit of tannic grip, which requires a pot of poultry stew to soften around the edges. Domaine Moissenet-Bornard is located in Pommard. This wine comes from vines situated on the flatter areas of the village region.

Terroir, the concept that wines from a specific region have unique and identifiable traits, is intricately...

Burgundy

The range of wine styles offered in Burgundy rivals that of any other region. Fans of rich, unctuous, and well-oaked Chardonnay will enjoy Chassagne-Montrachet, whose age-worthy offerings offer all the fatness of a California wine, yet retain a very Burgundian, mineral-driven core and great acidity....
