Staff Pick Notes

I was recently looking for another bottle of white Burgundy to try and came across this gem from Domaine Paul Pernot. Founded in 1959 by Paul Pernot, the family has been involved in the business for around 200 years and for good reason. This domaine is widely respected among Burgundy lovers and considered to be one of the foremost producers of white Puligny-Montrachet. This is one wine that would be a wonderful addition to your cellar, but is drinking impeccably well right now. There is incredible value for money here, especially when considering that the 2024 vintage was excellent for the white Burgundies, producing wines with both ample fruit flavor and acidity on the palate. Notes of ripe orchard fruits, stone fruits, marzipan, and beautiful wet-stone minerality are present. Richness and acidity are balanced perfectly in this Puligny.

It is a flexible, eager-to-please grape, responding well to just about anything a winemaker...
