Akin to a rustic Tuscan red, this blend of indigenous grapes fills the glass with ripe, dusty cherries and aromatics. Bold, dark fruit flavors end in gripping tannins, making this an ideal candidate for the dinner table. Try this alongside roast lamb with rosemary. This dry red wine is a combination of two ancient varieties: the white Monemvasia (25%) and the deep red Mandilaria (75%), which flourish under the bright sun and resist the strong winds of the region.

Moraitis winery is located on the beautiful island of Paros in the proximity of the beautiful waters of the Aegean Sea. Manolis Moraitis, back in 1910, cultivated is own vineyard while, at the same time, selecting and vinificating grapes from other vineyards in the island. Winemaking and grape sources remains similar and traditional but, in the last fifteen years big investments and improvements have been made in machinery and equipment. Have you heard of Mandilaria or Monemvassia grapes? ...That's what it has been used to create this very interesting wine. Mandilaria gives body, tannins and dark fruit flavors: Monemvassia is a white aromatic grape. A pronounced smoky aromas and flavor makes this wine intriguing!
