This release from NY Distilling Co. is a homage to M.C. Perry, the commandant of the Brooklyn Navy Yard circa 1941, and is the first "Navy Strength" gin available in the USA. Its sweet palate entry (due to a bit of wildflower honey from upstate) belies its 57% ABV. Juniper, citrus & cinnamon follow through on the mid-palate before giving way to a slow alcohol burn. Very mixable gin, try it in a gimlet. Botanicals are juniper, orange, lemon, grapefruit, coriander, angelica, cinnamon, anise, cardomom and wildflower honey from upstate NY. Corn spirit base.
