Taittinger "Comtes de Champagne" Brut Blanc de Blancs

Taittinger "Comtes de Champagne" Brut Blanc de Blancs - 2013

Item # 25998 750 mL

Taittinger's Tête de Cuvée, the Comtes de Champagne, comes exclusively from the most prestigious Crus on the Côte des Blancs. A small portion of the Chardonnay is aged in barrel four months and the final wine ages in bottle on its lees at least 10 years before release. Pale golden color, this wine possesses aromas of candied citrus, lemon tart, roasted almond and dried flowers, which translate to delicately caramelized flavors on the palate. The long finish suggests an ideal pairing with tuna carpaccio and shaved truffle. Am impressive bottle for celebrations.
