Ravines Chardonnay, Finger Lakes - 2021

Item # 21715 750 mL

A Burgundian Chardonnay from the Finger Lakes that shows lovely, nuanced orchard fruit on the nose and delightful plumpness on the palate. The wine is nicely balanced and a delightful rendition of the grapes. As a cool climate Chardonnay this wine expresses fresh fruit flavors, a distinct mineral tinge, hints of butter and lightly toasted French Oak.

Staff Pick Notes

Here, my friends, is a delicious Finger Lakes Chardonnay. Made using the ancient technique of appassimento where grapes are partially dried in the sun before fermentation, Ravines' Chard shows great depth and concentration of flavor. A balanced wine with integrated, subtle notes of oak, Anjou pear, and golden apple. Round and soft yet very refreshing, this paired beautifully alongside chicken kebabs.
