Staff Pick Notes

Petitot Ladoix

Excellent value-driven Burgundy from the lesser known appellation of Ladoix. The Petitots own 10 different parcels in 10 different AOCs. Grapes are hand picked and sorted from low-yielding vines and their cuvees tend to be equally expressive of soil and fruit. The Ladoix has a distinct rooty quality to it (beets, parsnips, radish) and berried fruit, taking a very earthy turn on the palate with a long clean mineral finish. Like I said, excellent value, by Burgundy standards at least.
