The Village of Villers-Marmery is on the Eastern side of the Montagne de Reims. Contrary to the predominating Pinot Noir of the Montagne de Reims region as a whole, it is planted 98% to Chardonnay. 20 -50 year old vines are planted in the fine chalk soil.
