Riesling Iphöfer "Julius Echter Berg" Grosses Gewächs, Wirsching - 2019

Item # 18628 750 mL

Top Riesling from one of the best sites in Franconia and bottled in the regional bochsbeutel-shaped glass. The Grand Cru Julius-Echter-Berg site has clay gypsum Keuper soils which lend a mineral freshness to the old vines of Riesling. One third of the wine was fermented in big wooden barrels and 2/3rds in stainless steel. Aged on the on lees for 16 months before bottling. Pair with roasted pork shoulder and roasted vegetables.
