Ch. Duhart-Milon, Pauillac

Ch. Duhart-Milon, Pauillac - 2015

Item # 13731 750 mL

An unbelievable Pauillac and an undiscovered original. This vintage shows broad-boned structure and fresh ripe plums on the palate. Tobacco and graphite present against grippy tannins. Drinking well now with a good decant. Duhart-Milon was acquired by its neighbor, Lafite-Rothschild in 1962, who undertook a massive restoration project in this historic estate. Since then, the quality makes this an unsung second wine of Lafite. This earthy, structured Cabernet dominant-blend is matured in barrels crafted by Lafite-Rothschild's coopers. Duhart-Milon was classified as a 4th Growth in 1855.
