This Champagne is made entirely from 50 year old Pinot Meunier grapes that were fermented and aged in tank. Aged on the lees for the secondary fermentation for 3 years. Egly-Ouriet produces vinous, terroir expressive Champagnes. Francis Egly is currently heading the estate and strives to improve with every year and since he took over from his father in 1982.
