Not sure where to start as so much can be said about what is referred to as the best liqueur ever produced. Using an ancient, secret recipe known only to a few monks, Chartreuse is crafted from 130 herbs and spices. To this day, only two monks measure and weigh the ingredients in the monastery located in the Chartreuse Mountains. The ingredients are then transported in white bags labeled only with numbers to the distillery in the city of Voiron. Intense flavors of pine, menthol, and herbs, with real complexity and a little spiciness. Note: The unique green color is obtained using only natural ingredients. Fun fact: It is said that Chartreuse is the only liqueur that evolves in the bottle.
