It is well known that 'puntas,' expressions are the most prized in a distiller's range, often only kept for the family and special occasions for that reason. It is no surprise that it follows that the annual release of a puntas batch from this revered, terroir driven producer is also the most anticipated in their portfolio. This year's release comes from the Mirandillas Estate and was bottled at 54% abv, striking the perfect balance of dried fruits, cacao, butterscotch, persimmons and salted chocolate. Distilled as always by the great Carlos Camarena. Very limited.
