Staff Pick Notes

Axel Pruffer left his East German roots after becoming enamoured with the natural wine scene in the Languedoc. After years of learning organic farming methods and non interventionist wine making, he established his own estate in 2003. His vineyards are surrounded by forests which protects his vines from chemical spraying by neighboring farmers. His wines are fresh and juicy and bring joy to your senses. As soon as I encountered this wine, I immediately thought that I would like to drink this everyday. It has juicy notes of watermelon, plums, and peaches, combined with jasmine, cinnamon, and violets. Its low alcohol allows one to continue to admire its virtues without losing consciousness.
